It's pretty much the old Steve Jackson game of Car Wars in a multiplayer environment. Graphical style isn't great and it's quite expensive when you sub but it's pretty easy to get into and fun. Basic functionality's free so you can easily see if it's for you before you part with any cash.
Cheers,

I'll have to give that one a go.
The sub seems a bit high for what looks like an indie game, but I'll be giving it a burl _________________ LSN: Brootal

Lol, yep, tragically I've even got a copy gathering dust on the shelves. Lots of square gridded paper with pics of roads and towns and whatnot on it, and just like all games of that are rather slow and complex to wade through.
Lol at Carmageddon, I guess since they didn't come out on your precious spectrum, you never heard of autoduel or roadwar 2000. Mad Max has a lot to answer for _________________ LSN: Brootal

| Ah yes, I have fond memories of battlecars on the spectrum. Half an hour of loading and designing your own cars, then five minutes of anticlimax racing round a track dodging the mines! |

Heh, I've got Car Wars and the Truck Stop supplement in a drawer as well!
Oh the memories... if I crack it open I'm sure my stats for my custom 'Rhino Bus of DOOM' (Anti-tank gun mounted on front, AP mines on sides, top, back and bottom and all the armour it could carry) is still in there. Even then I had my rhino fixation! _________________ LSN: Indricotherium, Clan: Doomed, Captain, Pretending I know what I'm doing since Oct 2003

I am guessing it couldn't do a 'bootlegger' though |

The closes I got to 8-bit car games were Spy Hunter, Out Run (terrible conversion), and Turbo Esprit.
Ah the memories, makes me smile with glee! |
